Pears baked with Marsala and cinnamon

I have reorganised my cookbooks and decided to try, over the next 12 months, to cook at least 1 recipe from each book.  Starting on my top shelf I took out The River Cafe Cook Book which I don’t believe I’ve cooked anything from previously.  I had all the ingredients in for this and it was incredible - like a posh toffee apple!  But a pear!  I had mine with homemade white chocolate and dulce de leche ice cream.  So good!
